Nurtools does not collect, store, or share any personal information. The app operates entirely on your device. Location access is used only in real-time to calculate Qibla direction and Prayer Times. Your coordinates are sent directly to the Aladhan.com API (a trusted Islamic resource) and are never stored by us.
We do not use, sell, or transfer your personal data to third parties. All calculations — including Zakaat, Tasbih counts, and Du'a preferences — are stored locally on your device using your device's secure storage.
Nurtools uses the following third-party APIs: • Aladhan.com — for Prayer Times and Hijri date conversion • Open Exchange Rates (open.er-api.com) — for live currency rates in the Zakaat calculator These services have their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them.
Location (When In Use): Required to detect your coordinates for Qibla and Prayer Times. This permission is requested at first launch and can be revoked at any time from your device Settings. Motion/Compass: Used to detect your device heading for the live Qibla compass. No data is transmitted.
Tasbih counter progress and app settings are saved locally on your device using AsyncStorage (React Native). This data is not backed up to any cloud service and is deleted if you uninstall the app.
Nurtools does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. The app contains no advertising and no account creation.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
